  • Name clearance: You must first check if the company name you want to use is available. You can do this by checking the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) website.
  • At least two directors: You must have at least two directors, one of whom must be resident in Zambia.
  • Minimum nominal capital amount: The minimum nominal capital amount for a company is ZMK 15,000.
  • Articles of Association: You must have Articles of Association, which are the rules that govern the company.
  • Memorandum of Association: You must have a Memorandum of Association, which is the document that sets out the company's objectives.
  • Registration fee: There is a registration fee of ZMK 2,133.

Once you have met all of the requirements, you can register your company with PACRA. You can do this online or by submitting the required documents to a PACRA office.
